R.L.B. Luftschutz Warden’s door plaque. This attractive solid flat backed plaque measures approximately 80mm x 120mm. The design features the R.L.B, (Reichsluftschutzbund), logo of RLB letters and swastika picked out in blue and superimposed on a stylized starburst background. The letters, “L-S,” and “Hauswart,” (Luftschutz House Warden), are embossed below the logo design. The plaque has an antique silver plated finish . These plaques were designed to be affixed to a door advising tenants where the “House Air Raid” Warden resided.
