1914 Grand Cross of the Iron Cross. The highest grade of the Iron Cross awarded only to the most senior Generals during WWI. Notably Hindenburg and Ludendorff. The Grand Cross is also the largest version of this famous award measuring over 60mm across. This example is die struck in one piece and finished in heavy silver plate with a black painted centre. Complete with correct suspension loop and 12”/30cm of neck ribbon. A fine quality piece at an affordable price.
